Yes, your Canon is compatible with AirPro, in the same way my Nikon D5500 is compatible, in terms of basic communication; but that's not the issue. I can capture fine with the AirPro and my Nikon on my first scope, as long as the mount is also connected to it.
But when I use the D5500 on my second scope with the AirPro, and operate my first camera with Sequence Generator Pro through a laptop with the mount connected to it, AirPro will not capture with the D5500. AirPro needs to have everything hooked up to it for successful capture, including a camera and mount, before it'll allow you to press the start button. Otherwise, it'll warn you that you need to hook up the mount, and won't start before you do that. Of course, the mount is connected through the other capture utility, SGP in my case, or another AirPro. Maybe there's a workaround, but I don't know what it is.
