Heya folks! So I'm looking for you all to help me spend 1200 dollars! (it's too easy lol) So I have a DSLR Canon T7i, I'm using for the last two years. I like it... but the camera has quite a few hot pixels (I'm guessing you can't get rid of these) and it's just time I want to move into a ZWO dedicated cam. So I live in a Bortle 6/7 area and I'm looking to do some Deep Sky and possible planetary imaging. (I like the widefield landscape stuff as well but I think that's easier to do with the smaller scope and I can keep the DSLR for that) So my question is what ZWO should I go with? I really don't want to stack filtered images, so I want to get a Color... I assume getting a cooled camera is almost a must. So that cuts it down some...
I've narrowed it down to the ASI2600MC-P APS-C or the ZWO ASI533MC-P There's a pretty good price difference here so I'm wondering is the ZWO ASI533MC-P good enough for what I'm aiming for? I'm by no means a professional. My current telescope is the Sharpstar 61EDPH II. (which I'll also be upgrading down the road...)
As a follow up...between the Canon T7i, which is what I have now...will I see that much of a difference with the ZWO ASI533MC-P ?
