EAR focus range too small. Can it be extended?

The focus range of the EAF on a C11 is too small to allow one to switch between Hyperstar operation and rear focus. Even switching between having a focal reducer the EAFs range does not allow the scope to come to focus. There should be a way in software to fix this, if not please add it. A faster speed would also be nice.

huggy The solution for now is to reset the the count to 0 or 60,000 when you reach the limit. I have a problem with that is it is easy to lose track of the mirror position after doing it multiple times. Please see the link below of a suggestion to have a "counts per step" which would extend the range. I think that they might be giving this serous consideration.

huggy There seems to be no stand-alone app but I use the ASICap application in ASI Studio. Without bothering to connect to a camera, you can use it to control the EAF, including resetting the step count if necessary.

ASICap isn't bad for planetary image capture, by the way. I tend to use FireCapture but ASICap is pretty good too.
