I want to familiarise myself with the aap system by opening the app and exploring the different sections but I have to build the rig then switch everything on, I have to do it this way due to space constraints, is there a way of opening the app without switching everything on?

No there isn’t. It’s super annoying.

You can start the ASIAir Pro with no camera and mount connected and explore the app. Yes, the device needs to be running but you don’t need all hardware.
