I have an AVX mount with the latest FW for the hand controller and mount. I just purchased the AVX mount last June and upgraded the firmware. Firmware showing in the hand controller

I'm using an iPad Gen 9 with IOS 16.6.1
The problem is easy to reproduce. Turn on the mount, start up ASIAir. Go to the Preview screen. Set the slew speed to 9. Scope is on index marks.
Do long slews. I start with RA (Left/Right arrows) Go left 60 degrees go right 60 degrees. Seems to work, mount stops when lifting finger. Then press DEC (Up/Down arrows) and hold down. Go about 20 degrees and lift finger. Mount will often keep slewing for another 5 second before stopping. I find the more you slew then the arrow icons seem to get less responsive. The RA that was first working no won't stop or pressing your finger on a direction icon won't move the mount. It's almost as if the iPad has be overloaded. If you move out of Preview the functionality seems to return but only temporarily. I've seen it on level 9, 8, 7, 6 and in Video on Jupiter I tried using a very slow speed to center the planet and when the planet started to move slowly and when I lifted my finger Jupiter moved off screen.
