ASI290MM ST4 Port

I have not been able to get the ST4 port pins RA+, RA-, DE+, or DE- to respond (i.e. go to ground) with Firecapture (using in camera port option or ASCOM) or ASIStudio. I am absolutely certain the ST4 is not responding and the final test was with ASIStudio; it appears the camera is faulty. Is there some kind of other test I can do?

Please try in PHD2 with our official drivers (with the On-camera option in phd2) and ASCOM drivers (with st4 options) from our website.

You can try the manual guiding and sending 5000ms to see if nothing moves or keep getting cannot detect east and west movement.

If this is the case and ST4 cable has been changed, then camera ST4 port is probably broken.

Thanks for the additional test option. I installed PHD2 (I had already of course installed the official and ASCOM drivers for Firecapture and ASIStudio) and tried as advised.

Unfortunately I still do not get any activity on the ST4 port pins which I guess means its broken. I purchased this camera directly from ZWO. Should I contact you via the "contact us" to get this resolved?

Thanks for your help - great camera but I'd like the ST4 port to work.
