PA Alignment problem with ASIAIR Pro and CEM40

Have been using my CEM40 and my ASIAIR Pro since a while without any problem until the last ASIAIR Pro app update (v.1.7-8.48).

Normally, during the PA, the rotating part turn anti clockwise and stop at 60 deg (using the ASIAIR Pro). Now most of the time, the rotating part of the mount come "crashing" and stop on the base of the CEM40. The only way to stop the rotation is to turn off the power on the mount. Im waiting for some clear sky to do more tests and to check if there is any damage....
Anyone with the same issues? Is it a problem with the last app., firmware version or my CEM40?

I have no problem with my CEM40 and Air Pro. After every session, I use the hand controller to bring the mount back to home zero position and then turn it off, also as Astrophotog mentions. When I first started out, without the Air Pro, I would simply turn the mount off at whatever position it was in, and had the problem you mention, that is the scope crashed into the tripod because it didn't know from where it had started.
