Incorrect mount Longitude after updating to 8.48/1.7

I have a GPS receiver for my Celestron AVX mount, and manually input the latitude and longitude from the mount into the ASIAIR app on my PC. With 8.11/1.6 app/firmware on my ASIAIR Pro, this worked fine. Now, when the app syncs to the mount, it pulls 262° East instead of 97° West. This causes some issues with what it thinks it can aim at, refusing to point West due to where it thinks the horizon is.

I power on the mount first, and don't connect the USB cable until after it determines when and where it is from GPS and complete a one star alignment. The mount was polar aligned first using the PA function and manually moving the mount. Disconnecting and resyncing did not fix it, and I was able to replicate the issue two separate days at two different locations. The erroneous longitude read from the mount was the same at both locations.

wizzlebippi A full circle contains 360 degrees so going one direction over an angle of 97º is the same as going in the other direction over 263º. In other words, 97º longitude west is exactly the same as 263º longitude east. The fact that you saw 97 and now 262 probably is a display error which can be ignored.

I am not sure how that can be the cause of the pointing problems.

wvreeven I was doing math in the wrong direction since I'm used to seeing longitude as +/- 180°. That makes sense and probably isn't my pointing problem. Thanks
