I would like to propose a new feature for the ASIAIR.
I use a 6'' cassegrain with a focal length of 1840mm.
it is almost impossible to get plate solving with this telescope (especially with narrowband filters). when I'm using a barlow it becomes even more difficult since the FOV is below ASIAIR minimum for plate solving.
my solution is to use the guiding scope to reach the target and then switch to the main scope. In order to do that I aligned both scopes.
The great advantage of the ASIAIR is its ability to operate independently during the night. I would be more than happy if ZWO will automate the process I described in order to make target shift and meridian flip during the night with human intervention.
thanks in advance
