During the previous last clear night I did a PA slewed to my target and everything worked well butat the end of the night I had to tear everything down, tonight was the first time the skies were clear so I set up again, nothing changed but when I was trying to send the scope to the home positioni and it went completely the wrong way. I noticed that the time on the aap was about 1hour slow from the real time. I could not find a way to get back to settings to reset the time, is there a way? The only thing I could think of was to turn everything off and start again!! Two questions, is there a quicker way of getting back to settings and any idea what I did wrong?

Hi!

Did you hit the sync to mount button in the mount menue?
What kind of mount are you using? If it is Skywatscher, do not use the hand controller between the mount and AAP. This will only add problems.

Hi, my mount is a Skywatcher eq3-2. We had a clear night, I think Sunday, and all went ok. Don’t know what I did differently.
I have a Celestron AVX mount that I decided to give an airing but when I tried to connect the EQMOD cable, instead of using the hc, it would not fir so I contacted an Astronomy shop who told me an EQMOD cable does not work on Celestrons. It appears there is nothing similar for Celestron. Strange!!!!

1 About the DST time, plz turn off it on your HC and do not sync the time in the app.
2 The Celestron mounts cannot support EQMOD connection method so you cannot use it.
3 But the SkyWatcher EQ3 supports EQMOD - again, check the Date/Time and Location info before do any movement.
