Update the app on your mobile device, start the AAP and connect the app to it. It will prompt you to update the AAP for you.
thanks but the SD card is empty and not in the unit, therefore the update prompt won't happen. i need the code to update the SD card. is the code available via ZWO other than the above suggestion?
Check the AAP website. There are instructions there in a PDF how to install the OS on the SD card.
