When I use PixInsight software for image processing, I have astrometric errors due to info that ZWO adds to the image FITS headers. Astrometric info that gets misinterpreted by PixInsight is put into the headers. This causes PixInsight Photometric Color Calibration to FAIL every time. Also, if one reframes the image using the AAP framing tool, whereby we touch the screen where we wish to center the image, then we are unable in PixInsight to look up the coordinates of the object because it no longer matches up, and the image internal data is incorrect because of the FITS header problem.
ZWO has been made aware of this problem, but so far has done nothing about it. PixInsight is the most used processing software, and ZWO should not put data into the FITS headers that PI cannot use.
