In theory it shouldn’t be a problem but I won’t do that knowing many phones write files on the SD when inserted.
IMO you better use a normal SD card reader and copy your file on your computer. Also if you can use an USB drive to copy your subs directly from the AAP you won’t need to manipulate your an SD card where the system is stored as it is on the AAP.
May I ask why you want to use your phone ?
