Hi,
when I want to pick up on an imaging project a few nights later (when I shot other objects in between), it is handy to use the GoTo feature of the integrated image viewer to get the same position.
However, it is missing an angle calculation option so one can rotate the FOV to match the earlier session.
For example the workflow could look like this:
- Open image with desired position in image viewer
- Hit PlateSolve (like in preview mode)
- ASIAIR will now show a popup with the coordinates and orienation angle and a GoTo button
- Hitting GoTo will move the mount to the position
- With successive snapshots and platesolves (in preview mode) one can then iterate the rotation of the sensor to match the earlier calculated angle or even better ASIAIR remembers the angle from the PlateSolve and prompts "rotate x degrees..."
