My new ASI294MC worked very very for a few sessions and then suddenly started showing an odd noise pattern that completely obliviates the image (attached). Has anyone seen this before or have a clue how to diagnose it?

Please change a different cable first, if issue remains, please send some Fits for us to check via Google Drive, and you can try it on PC if possible.
