New ZWO EAF 5v - loses focus point when turned off and on

Hi ZWO team,

I have a new ZWO EAF 5v. Upgraded to the latest firmware v3.2.3.

Let's say that at the end of the night the focus is at 3,000. I turn off and disconnect all equipment. When I reconnect the night after, the focuser now believes it is at 22 or 18 or 17. Randomly. It forgets the focus point it is at. The focuser itself has not moved physically.

As a workaround, I now have to push the focus out, say to 10,000, then bring it back to 3,000. And then proceed. The story repeats nightly.

Why does it forget the focus point? Anything I should do to fix this? Is the unit defective? Is it a setting or software problem?

Please resetting the 0 position and the maximum number of steps. You can refer to below manual:
