I noticed last night that even with multi-star guiding enabled, that there is still a primary star selected which the crosshairs and box center on. this is all good - but in my case last night the star it grabbed seemed to be somewhat volatile, like it blinked and bounced a bit when watching it in the evaluation box of peak & size. guiding as a result dropped tremendously to around 0.80" avg total error because it kept chasing the moving star. after noticing I had to stop, reset and start guiding but it kept selecting that bad star. I ended up having to adjust gain to get it to select a different star. after doing this guiding was exceptional for me the whole night, around 0.20" total error average.
So my feature request could be improving the logic around selecting the primary star. maybe compare 2-4 stars over a 2 second period to see which one is most stable, or while in multi-star guiding allow me to cycle between the selected stars to determine the most stable primary star.
Automated is always better, but even a manual change would be great - the fact that the primary star had a 4X impact on guiding stability is a substantial improvement.
