Looks like no change in firmware (still 8.81); just the iOS TestFight build has been bumped to Build 9.
The guide camera Bin2 setting has been moved back to to the Guide Settings window -- perhaps they are encouraged by the reports of improved guiding. I have no chance of testing for at least 10 more days (as far as Wunderground can see the weather).
(Again, for the curious, guiding with Bin2 allows for higher sensitivity, better dynamic range, and higher rate feedback, and better plate scale for long focal length guide systems, but will not improve the guide performance that in the past was already limited by mount mechanics. Don't expect miracles -- but if you have a good mount, you could see a measurable improvement. Bin2 might also actually give poorer results for very short focal length guide systems -- when star HFD is smaller than the 2x2 super pixel.)
