I'm very happy with the ease of use the Asiair offers, but have one problem with guiding. I ty to polar align as accurate as possible below one arc minute, goto a target and start guiding. It calibrates and guiding is ok. Even after a Meridian flip. But suddenly the guiding loses its accuracy, while the imaging plan keeps making pictures (wich i think should stop when the guiding discovers it's not accurate). All pictures ahve star strikes on it after that and the guide log shows i'ts losing on the RA axis.
When i tell the mount to return to the home position it ends pointing right up or down, but never at the home position. It looks like it lost its orientation completely.
Mount is a Skywatcher EQ35 pro, not a great one but the guiding is OK in its normal state. Attached is the guide log (i examined it with PHD2 log vieuwer, a good tool!) and some screen shots from the log; normal guiding, the moment it goes wild and a zoomed out one to see where the graph is going.
