Hi
I think I am encountering a similar problem using ASI178 with Live Stacking.
I'm new to the forum so please forgive me if I missed anything relevant in my searches.
Only 1 in 3 frames is processed and is either stacked or ignored.
The other two frames just seem to have no effect and at the end of the exposure, it just starts a new one.
Here's some details (hopefully clues!-)
Originally laptop was running a dual boot Win7/Zorin (Ubuntu) Linux and there was no problem under Windows
I trashed the Windows installation (don't ask) and now only have 64bit Linux, which is where the problem occurs.
Have tried setting the usb file system buffer manually with different values but seems not to make a difference
sudo echo 1000 > /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/usbfs_memory_mb
Does not seem to depend on exposure time, have tried 10,15,20,30 secs and all same.
I see USB resets under dmesg, but I understand this is normal operation from reading other posts.
Have tried running Zorin/ASI Studio on 3 different laptops including a very recent Dell, same behavior on all of them.
I'm getting good results and few ignored frames but it's taking 3 times as long so very frustrating!
Any pointers or suggestion welcome!
