Plate Solving Gone South

All of a sudden plate solving is no longer working. The mount slews to the general area of the object and just sits there redoing a solve with several hundred stars to work with. Any idea?

I’ve noticed this too. They probably changed something with V1.7 or 1.8 because it worked flawlessly before. It’s specially frustrating when it does it during polar alignment and it’ll just stop plate solving for no reason and have to stop, go home, and repeat the procedure and cross your fingers that it’s doesn’t do it again.

Well bless my soul. I had gone in for a few hours. Will be attacking the comet in a few hours. When I restarted everything, I noticed that the scope focal length was set for my 5" refractor instead of my 80mm. I changed that and everything started working. Something to keep in mind if you are working with more than one scope. It would be nice if they had a way of saving that information.
