Skysafari 7 issue with AAP Pro?

I am a user of SkySafari v6 with AAP for some time. I use the “EQMOD for Sky Safari” option in the AAP settings. I have both up and running on my ipad. I switch out of AAP screen to see the SS6 screen, connect this app to the mount and occassionally use this as a “go to”. For example last night i wanted to see 32 Eri and this is not in the AAP double star list. I then switch back into AAP and may occasionally “sync the mount” after a plate solve. All good.

However last night i also tried out the new SS v7. I found that every time i switched over to SS v7 and then back into AAP i would find i had lost tracking in AAP. I redid the same steps in SS v6 and no issues. Is there an issue with the new software upgrade in AAP or does it stem from an issue with SSv7 upgrade.

cpl43uk Another way of saying the same is: it is Chinese New Year and the whole ZWO crew are on vacation until the end of the week. And, yes, that can be read elsewhere on the forum as well.
