ASIAir gain settings and ASI533MC-P camera

I wanted to ask if anyone knows of the relationship between the gain settings in the ASIAir pro and the 533 camera? I have read that a 100 gain setting in ASIAir does not equal a gain of 100 in the camera. Thank you.

I saw that claim on a Nebula Photos youtube review of the ASIAir Pro. I tested this by taking a picture with the AAP and Sharpcap, at the same gain setting. The pictures turned out the same. In addition, Deep Sky Stacker says the gain matches what is set in AAP. So, I tend to think the gain setting in AAP is the same as what gets set in the camera.

Someone on Cloudy nights posted that they think the 0-370 gain setting on the ASIAir corresponds with 100-470 on the 533 camera. Not sure if this matches up with the Deep Sky Stacker and Sharpcap settings.
