Much installing, much rebooting, much reading and having another look was all I did yesterday. I could see in the asiair app in Bluestacks of which I have two versions, that the zwo camera is working fine but Phd2 couldn't see it at all.
My camera is connected to the Star2i mount by sma and the asiair plus via usb, and the Asiair is in Station mode and visible on the home network.
I said to my Son it's based around the Raspberry pi to which he said that's why you've been sat there all day trying to get it going. Doesn't it come with an install disk he asked, no. Nothing you buy seems to he said.
That is all part of the fun for myself, but you end up doing so much you can never know what sorted it in the end.
I can see phd2 posts all through the forum, phd2 doesn't find my zwo mini, which makes me think this is possibly a windows problem that windows update probably screws every other Thursday.
I think not really seeing my Asiair in windows device manager is why Phd2 doesn't see it.
