ASIair Android app on Chromebook

I'm trying to run the Android ASIair app on my Chromebook. (I installed the APK file manually because the Google Play store reports that the app is incompatible with my ChromeOS device--apparently correctly!) The app starts up normally and says it wants to download some files, but the download never seems to start. (Screenshots below.) Stellarmate's Android app, connected to a RaspberryPi running the Stellarmate system, runs flawlessly on the Chromebook and controls my iOptron mount and ASI camera. I prefer the ASIair app interface and tools, so would like to get it working on the Chromebook (which then opens up lots of other capabilities, such as live streaming images). I would be happy to have any suggestions on how to get the ASIair Android app running on the Chromebook. Thanks.

You should do a small update on the app to install. Make a resizable window like the ASIMount app. And enable it to work on Chromebooks.

Why restrict us to a tablet or phone when a Chromebook is so cheap and provides massive screen space to actually enjoy using ASIAir?

The work actually involved is very little since the compatibility issue for example has been resolved for ASIMount, which runs beautifully in Android 11 (Beta) software for Chromebooks. Just ask your app developers to do the same for ASIAir. The effort is minimal, the return to your users very high!

It would be good for ZWO to make the ASIAIR App run on Chromebooks.

You'll probably need a Chromebook with a minimum system specification, though.

So don't buy a Chromebook to run the ASIAIR App until ZWO officially say it's supported.

I currently have a paperweight on my desk, also known as a Chromebook. I bought it to run ASIair, it's just another Android device, right? Apparently not.

ZWO, please support Chromebook.

Hello, I have just test the ASIAIR App, it's running, it is a good news.
There is a little issue, the application screen is locked, hence, the window is too narrow.
We could not resize it, it is locked in "portrait". It is surely a parameter issue.

With other applications, we have the choice between portrait, landscape or custom resize.
