EAF Temperature Control?

Greetings all!

I've owned a 1st generation version of this focuser for some time now. I used it initially on a rig that I no longer own but would like to put it back in service on another one now. My question is this...I can't seem to get any control option for temperature compensation. I have the temp probe and it's responsive (i.e. reads temp changes) in ZWO's ASCOM, N.I.N.A and SharpCap but I'm not able to find any check boxes to affirm that I want to initiate temperature compensation. There is a "Temperature Compensation" box in N.I.N.A but it's grayed out even though it's reading temp changes elsewhere on the page. Same for the ZWO driver...reads the current temp but nothing shows for temp compensation. Now, I'm assuming that the EAF probe is meant to provide that functionality and not just help to tell me what the current weather is. Am I wrong?

I just updated the ASCOM platform and the ZWO driver (6.0.5) package with no change in functionality.

I think this is expected, I remember someone asked about this in MDL and there is no such functionality either.

So, does this mean that the EAF ASCOM driver does not support temperature compensation in any of the imaging programs? This is a contradiction to your advertisement implying that feature.

If not, I would like to request that ZWO consider adding that functionality to the EAF driver. Can you put in that request?

I mean no control option, not mean this does not exist at all, can you confirm it is effective or not?

Having temperature compensation would be excellent and it should be easy to implement in the EAF Settings module. Just allow the user to put in a figure of so many counts per degree and a tick box to activate. I find I can focus very well just using the temperature readout on the EAF settings, having generated a model using many manual (Bahtinov mask) determinations with temeprature. I do this in an Excel spreadsheet. If EAF adjustments were made between exposures controlled by ASIImg, that would be perfect.
I do this manually as follows: Stop the Auto Run to enable the EAF Settings (Auto Run Pause doesn't allow this and it would be really handy if it did). Adjust EAF setting according to current temperature, then start a new Auto Run sequence.
