ZWOASI120MM-S Camera properties in PHD2

My ZWOASI120MM-S has been working flawlessly as a guide camera in PHD2
When I check camera properties in PHD2 only 2 options appear , 8 bit or 16bit . I normally check 8 bit , however the camera is a 12 bit camera
Any reason why only 8bit and 16bit show in the PHD2 camera properties

Any advice appreciated

The output is always 8bit or 16bit no matter ADC is 12 bit or 14bit:
As we know, for a 12 bit camera, it means we use 12 "0" or "1" to save a data. So the range should be 2¹²=4096.
then the minimum is 12 "0"s(=0). and the maximum is 12 "1"s(=4095). it means we could use it to standard from 0 to 4095.
For our 16bit, we add 4 "0" at the end of the data. It means that we multiply the raw data from sensor by 16(2⁴). So 4095*16=65520. For our 8bit, we chop off 4 at the end of the data.
