Have noticed that you have to not only close the app, but Force Stop the app and start it again.
Once done, images were loading fine for me once again.
I had the issue where the image just didnt load at all, it shot, saved the image, and then onto the next shot without presenting the image to the user.
As far as the image not saving, have you double checked the image isnt being saved to the ASIAir internal memory, which it now defaults to every single time so you have to change it to USB stick.
