Conecting CMOS usb 3.0 to USB C port

It is possible to connect our CMOS usb 3.0 (ASI 294MM Pro) to our computer through the USB C port?

I remember recommending the hub that FlyData mentioned. Good build quality, and allows you to charge a MacBook Pro without taking up an extra USB-C slot.

However, if you need just a single port, you can use this more compact one too (which also works fine on my M1 MacBookPro):

There are better (and more expensive) adapters that can handle USB 3.2 speeds (10 Gbps), but you won't need those with ZWO's devices, which appear so far to only meet USB 3.0 specs.

You can get a small USB 3.0 hub with a USB-C connector.

This was recommended to me on this forum, I got one and it works fine -- no issues/drop outs so far. It also allows me to connect the autoguider camera and filter wheel directly to the laptop, should I choose to.

Just to add that I bought two similar cables and tried one of them tonight with my ASI1600MM and my MacBook. ASIStudio detected the camera and the filter wheel and operated both wonderfully well. This was without a hub so the camera was connected directly to the thunderbolt port.
