High Quality images when reviewing saved images (instead of a thumbnail)

Can we have the ability to view saved images in the same high resolution quality that the latest image gets displayed in?

Right now the only way to see a high resolution image on the asiair is for it be the latest image taken which gets presented to the user on screen.. after the next image is taken, you can only view any previous image at thumbnail quality (see: like 50kb image). This doesn't help when you're looking at your subs for a trend of things happening, but have to try and work from ultra low quality versions. I wouldn't mind if it means saving a high resolution jpg alongside the FITS file. I can easily delete those later if needed.

Improve101 how are you viewing the thumbnail jpegs? I'm pretty sure they only exist to provide preview icons in the image management file lists.

You can review the full res images by going into the storage settings, navigating to the location of your images, tap the image you want to view, then zoom in and out by pinching the screen.

WalterT This isn't the same resolution sadly.. it's a very low resolution version.

Did anyone notice that these images are not viewed at full resolution compared to those on preview/autorun menu? Like they are binned 2x or 3x.

astrosatch Exactly, thanks, you've noticed also. When going into your stored images, it loads the really low resolution jpg thumbnail, and not the full resolution fits file (that it shows only once after the image is taken and loaded onto the Autorun page and never again).

You can see the difference in quality from the current Autorun image vs what you get when looking in the Image Management section at saved images. You can also only zoom in a short way from Image Management (showing max zoom in the low quality image there). You can zoom in further on Autorun screen (and that is not even the max, just an example).

Can we please get high quality images shown when looking through Image Management?
