I just received an ZWO ASI2600MC-P which has severe pixel row streaking. I don't know if this is "normal" and I am doing something wrong or if this is a defective camera. I have a short window to return it so would appreciate a prompt answer from anyone knowledgeable. I have experimented with a lot of GAIN and OFFSET settings and while that helps, I could not eliminate them when they occur. These streaks don't seem to always appear; but when they do they are in the same rows. They are not optical issues. Some frames have more of them than others. I have uploaded here an example. This is a 2x2, 600sec at gain 15, offset 100. I opened it in PixInsight, debayered, histogram stretched, and cropped, and saved as jpg to meet size requirements. While not as conspicuous in the non-debayered image, they are clearly evident there as well.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Especially: (1) is this a defective camera to be returned or (2) how do I mitigate these (I am already dithering very heavily and that seems to help a bit) [i.e.., what am I doing wrong].
Thanx
