Hi Sam,
I would like to ask if you have done any testing on a conection
of the ASI120MC with a USB-LAN server?
Recently I have been trying to solve freezing problems with the
ASI/Firecapture, lowering the USB bandwidth to 50% etc.
It still happens, even with the new SDK/Driver.
So I thought to unload some of the USB and connect the camera to
a USB server.
The model I bought ( very economical ) is Sharkoon 1-port USB server
( http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=de/drivers )
It has a Gigabit lanport and 1 USB conector. ( USB Lanport 100 )
When conecting it sees the camera OK, but I doesn't want to do capturing.
When conecting standard devices all works fine ( hard-drive, pendrive etc )
Also the DFK21 ( Imaging source camera ) connects but doesn't want to capture.
Is the ASI a non standard device, anything in the driver that doesn't allow
the camera to capture through this conection?
Any thoughts on enabling this sort of connection??
Best regards,
Mert
