Add an "Offline Mode" to the ASI Air mobile app to view Tonight's Best or other targets. I suppose that would involve either asking the user if they wanted to download the content to their device's app or the content could be hosted server-side and made available, or maybe integrated into ASi Studio. Regardless, it would be nice to access this content without having to only connect to the ASI Air device.

felixcortez server side might not be the best solution as some of us go to dark sites where there is no internet available. I think for the offline mode (which i believe is a good idea, although i plan my sessions with Stellarium and Skysafari Pro) the whole setup flow shown when the ASIAir app is opened needs to be bypassed somehow without loosing the settings from the former imaging session (who wants to edit the gear if it didn’t change since the last session just because you want to see what’s in the sky tonight?). There are some challenges to the user experience to achieve that feature.

I use Observer Pro with or without internet for planning, in addition to telescopius or SkySafari Pro when the internet is readily available. Observer Pro has a full database native to the app and lets you do lots of extra helpful things like entering your FoV based on different combinations of equipment to help you better frame shots, setting minimal viewing altitudes to avoid things like treelines or houses, and lets you filter on 10 or so attributes. Something like that is what I'd be looing for from the ASi Air app.
felixcortez i could imagine an improved list by taking the GPS location, adjustable time/timeframe and focal length to weight the list of targets, so those that are in the FOV and match your scope are on top of the list. This would not really require to bypass the setup screen as most of the necessary parameters could be taken from there.

Yeah, that would be a reasonable set of options. So long as all your cameras were saved as the FoV would be different.
felixcortez yes, a gear management would be nice as well, so we can switch to different setups more easily. Like SGP has one.
