Strange disconnect(?) issues with EFW

I have used this EFW for a long time and never had issues. I'm using SGP for my automation and recently it happens that just randomly during my session the EFW seems to be disconnecting or resetting. SGP does not really detect a disconnect but it will show that the current filter is not known. SGP also continues with the sequence but the EFW is resetting to the first filter (which happens to be luminance in my case). So while I'm imaging, let's say some hydrogen data, suddenly the EFW changes to the luminance filter but SGP does not recognise the error and just keeps on doing its thing. This is very frustrating and I don't know how to analyze the problem. Is there maybe a known problem that would explain this behaviour?

gkunz Could you test the EFW in ASIStudio? can you reproduce the problem? Please test it with different cables

Looks like the EFW is somehow hung up and always reports that it's moving...
