I have been using the live stacking mode of the ASIAir pro and so far understand the difference between live stacking and autorun as the following-
Live stacking - take darks, flats first then when live stacking, the darks and flats are incorporated with the lights to create a file which is displayed on the fly.
Autorun - can take darks and flats before or after lights. When imaging, darks, flats and lights are all saved in seperate folders which can be stacked after the image capture.
Is my understanding correct? Are there other differences to be aware of?
I have been saving the final live stacked image from the ASIAir pro to an Ipad and wondering if the images can also be saved to memory on the ASIAir Pro? Also, if imaging in Autorun mode, are the darks, flats, and lights all stored on the USB memory stick which I can take to a computer for stacking? Thank you,
Dave
