This set up has worked just fine for me last year:
Sky Watcher AZ-GTI wifi mount with EQ wedge
ASIAIR PRO wifi to mount via SynScan Pro 'en route'
Apple iPad wifi
Nikon D5600a with Samyang F2 135mm or Sigma prime 85mm
120MM mini guide
Following with an unintended AAPro ungrade to 1.8.3 (9.12) (iPad auto update got set to on, my mistake) this wifi combination became a complete nightmare, no guiding, mount slew arrows inoperative, goto only approx...etc.
Thus I have completely abandoned this wifi nightmare (which I am not motivated nor equipped to diagnose) and shifted to this ;
Connection iPad to AAPro direct via ethernet cable
EQMod cable (50cm short for neatness) AAPro direct to mount; EQMod selected on AAPro 10.0.0.10 UDP
Later, extract FITS files, directly via ethernet cable, to Macbook/Pixinsight
It works like a dream. Astro-photography is once again the name of the game.
I have absolutely no intention of diagnosing what caused the ethernet nightmare, but I can guess.
The good news is that I am up and running and can get back to astro-shooting.
That is, when the moon and the clouds and humidity go away.
