Hello. I have fitted an EAF v2 (the one without 12v in) to this lens with a kit. I have a problem with the ASIAIR focus routine. If I start the routine with my stars in focus (verified with a bahtinov mask) the autofocus routine fails because when it puts the stars out of focus to start the routine it tries to moves beyond the lens hard stop (which is just few mm after the focus position). Is there any way to configure the amount of movement the EAF tries to make in the focusing routine to go to a position with the star out of focus? or do the initial focus movement in the other direction (not towards the phisical limit of the lens collar).

Look in the Focuser settings of ASIAIR. There is a "reverse" button that you can select. The initial auto focus position will be in the opposite position of the camera's focus ring.

Have you tried checking the reverse direction checkbox in the EAF settings?
Also, what is your step size for AF? I have mine set at 25.
