I have a ASI 1600MM PRO which I purchased from OptCorp in California in November 2018. Worked well for two years and a couple of months. The warranty ran out just I started getting horizontal lines on about a third of my images. The camera is connected directly to my computer, so signal is not going through a hub.
OptCorp said I had to send it through them to China for repair. I did, it was returned without repair.
I was then told by OptCorp that I needed to send it to ZWO's new repair center in Indiana, which I did. I was told the ZWO would repair it for nothing if I sent it to Indiana.
ZWO said they replaced the sensor, but I would have to pay $274 to have it returned. Having no choice, I paid ZWO and they returned the camera. It still has the horizontal lines!!!
My friends at Diffusion Ltd in Canada are laughing at me for ever buying a ZWO camera.
Does anybody have any ideas how to solve this?
