Dear @tech@zwo,
Very often people use their ASIAir without a network connection, for instance in the field. If in such a situation an error is encountered, the logs cannot be sent to ZWO for analysis since they get erased as soon as the ASIAir powers down. This is, of course, because the logs are stored in the /tmp folder of the ASIAir linux file system.
So, my request is to make sure that the logs are NOT stored there but at a different location. This would allow users to send their logs when they get back home and connect their ASIAirs to their home networks. This, of course, should involve a change in the user interface such that it allows users to choose WHICH logs to send. And a change such that the logs become rolling logs so that the SD card or eMMC doesn't fill up with logs. I am sure your developers understand that and will take care of that.
Thank you very much in advance for taking this under consideration.
Wouter
