Not sure if this is related, but I updated the software and firmware of my ASI Air Pro to v1.8.3-9.12 yesterday. While my 2600 MC Pro worked fine with the previous firmware version, I now get image failure messages (using the 2600 MC Pro as the main camera). My 290MM Mini works fine. I have tried 4 different USB 3.0 cables and that has not solved the problem. I use the ASI Air on my new iPad. I also have a windows-based laptop. Same issue. I downloaded and tried the ASI Studio software on my MackBook Air. The ASIImg software gives me the same image failure error. In the ASICap software, the fps rate is 0.0. While I can control the camera settings (e.g., cooling, anti dew heater, etc), I can't seem to take any images, no matter what the exposure, gain or other settings. I see that multiple people have reported this problem (both in conjunction with firmware updates to the ASI Air products and also some camera models). This is a very expensive camera and I am disappointed in having this problem with a relatively new (7 months) camera and the little amount of time I have used it. Please help me out. Thank you.
