Recently received a ZWO ASI183MM camera. This connected successfully to my APT capture software, although some capabilities were not available such as selecting the frame size. Another program I'm using for spectroscopy is RSPEC and with the camera connected to the computer is is shown as an option in the select camera menu. However when I select the 183 and try to to live view with it, there is a message to select the camera, thus it is obvious the 183 is not connected, although shown as an option. Also, no parameters in settings or properties are available for editing such as frame size or ADC. Note that it does connect successfully to other ASI cameras including another of mine which is an ASI2400MC. Note also that APT was not connected while attempting to connect to Rspec. Others have mentioned the same problem with the 183 series. Any help?
