ASIAIR Plus Auto Reconnect issue

Hi!

I have ASIAIR Plus and have some auto reconnect issues.
I have Linksys Velop Mesh system with 3 nodes operating at 2.4GHz and double 5GHz.
I have RPi on my network serving as VPN server for connecting when out of home.
AA+ is configured in STA mode, so it connects directly to my WIFI. It has reserved IP address.
I use iPhone 12 Mini (iOS 15.4) and iPad Air 1st Gen (iPadOS 12.5.5) to connect to AA+. The app is latest beta 1.9(9.42) from TestFlight but the issue was present on latest, legit version from the AppStore and on previous iOS/iPadOS versions as well.

The issue is not a blocker but somewhat annoying.

When iPhone/iPad is connected to WIFI and I put the app to background or lock the iDevice and then open the app again, the app says Auto Reconnecting... and after few seconds the popup opens with name of my WIFI at he top and list of AA+ to Connect.
However, when iPhone is disconnected from WIFI and uses LTE, I connect to my home network thru VPN and then after reopening the app, it connects to AA+ instantly, without the annoying popup.

Can you please provide some feedback on what to change on my net/router/iDevice to make it connect instantly when on WIFI?

Hi!

The internal AP of AA+ had its IP address set to 10.0.0.1 which in fact was the same as my main router/local dns, thus these two were in constant conflict.
I had to change DHCP address pool for my network so it does not conflict with AA+ AP.
Althou I had to input all the reservations from scratch but it was worth it.

Problem solved, AA+ works now like a charm!

PS. It would be nice to have a possibility, to change the AP IP address instead of changing the whole network.

gutaker Thank you for your share, you can set a static IP in your router settings for ASIAIR.

@tech@zwo I meant change local ACCESS POINT IP address on AA+ just like we can change local WIFI name. Maybe i should use name AP (ACCESS POINT) and use WIFI HOTSPOT instead.
