I'm having a bit of an issue with my ASI120mm camera. The preview image and saved video file in all apps I use for video is quite jittery. By jittery I mean that the screen is filled with randomly sized rectangular frames that appear quickly at random times. And then, for a microsecond the screen clears and I get a decent image. My laptop is a new HP with 6 gigs of ram with (1) USB 2.0 and (2) USB 3.0 ports. I have the latest driver and firmware installed for the camera. This is occurring in your utility, Firecapture, Sharpcap and TheSkyX Pro.
In Firecapture, the image is least jittery at max resolution, 1280x960. If I reduce to 640x480 the jitters are so bad you can't even tell what I'm looking at. Frame rates are extremely low. I purchased the camera at OPT, have had it approximately 2 weeks and did use it once, successfully.
I attempted to attach a MOV file but it's not permitted.
Any help would be appreciated.
