I’m new to the ASIAir, which I’m trying to use to interface with a Rainbow Astro RST135 mount and a camera, with the ASIAir software running on an iPad. When the Air first connected with the mount, it didn’t read the mount’s information correctly until I discovered that the default comm protocol of the RST135 hand controller isn’t “Rainbow”, silly me, but “LX200”! I changed the mode to Rainbow, and now the ASI software reads the GPS data and time correctly. The Air and mount are connected by USB, and the comm mode is set to USB.
But it still reads the R.A. and Dec. as 00 00 00. Hitting the Sync With Phone button changes nothing.
Any ideas?
