I am trying to update my Asiair plus from version 1.9.41 (beta stuff) to 1.9.53 (official release), however, when trying to update last week in the field, the asiair seemingly did not accept the file transfer. The update seemingly started, but the progress wheel stayed on 0%. Since last week I got back home (I was on holiday) I have tried it again, with of course the same results. It should be mentioned that I was running the beta stuff on my asiair plus, it was buggy, yes, but I did not expect this. It used to update fine. It used to take a minute or two. not fifteen...
let me give you a list of what I've tried so far
Switiching it on and off and try to update, fail
Reset the plus by holding the button, and then update, fail
Uninstall the app and reinstall it, fail
Try to roll back app to asiair software, put it in station mode, update app, try to update air, fail
Disconnecting all the cables except for power, fail
The app makes connection with the mount. It tells me the asiair's software is currently at 1.9.41 (which is beta stuff) when I roll back the app to that version, it works fine, however, that version is very buggy.
For some reason, reset doesnt seem to do jack shit. The air is not being restored to factory settings as far as I can see. It stays on 1.9.41. When I hold the button, red light starts to blink, until it goes solid again. You'd expect it's reset..... I doesn't look that way. I looks like nothing changed at all. Am I resetting it wrong???
When the app tries to upload the firmware to the air, it keeps on saying 'transferring firmware' and the progress bar/circle stays at 0%.... and it stays there.... until I get an error message that the file transfer took to long and I have to try quitting and reopening the app (which does not solve the problem)
It just doesnt want to update... at all
I am out of ideas... please help??I am trying to update my Asiair plus from version 1.9.41 (beta stuff) to 1.9.53 (official release), however, when trying to update last week in the field, the asiair seemingly did not accept the file transfer.
