Nikon d5600 bulb mode.

My Nikon d5600 works in bulb mode under normal conditions, my problem is when connected to my Asiair plus with both cables connected, and all the Asiair and camera settings correct, as far as I know, the maximum exposure I can get is 1 sec. I am pretty new to this imaging and I'm wondering if I'm missing something. If someone can throw some light on this you will make an old man very happy.

Hi, I shoot Nikon D500 and D5600 on the ASIAIR PRO and PLUS without any issue. What do you mean by “both cables” ? .The D5600 should be connected to the ASIAIR with just ONE usb cable. There’s no need to use 2 cables.

I use a Nikon D5600a controlled only by ASIAIR via USB cable.

Does your ASAIAIR come up with the camera D5600 as main camera?

Are you by chance trying to control the shutter release with the second cable which you referred to? No need for it.

Lain402 Lain, does your D500 require the shutter release cable or can the AAP run it with just the USB cable as well?

WalterT Only the usb cable. None of my camera ( Z6II / D500 / D5600) needs the shutter cable.

I concur, the Nikon D5600 works best with just a USB cable. I’ve plugged it into the USB3 slot just in case.

Hi, I've tried to use my D5600 with tbe ASIAIR Plus and got some issues. I am using a UDB cable, the ASIAIR recognizes the camera and I can connect and change parameters but when I tried to shoot a test photo it keeps telling me that I need a sutter release cable and doesnt stop the shooting. My camera wqs in BULB mode

Any idea?
