The ASIAIR used to have the best plate solving and it was almost instantaneous and then they broke it after an update sometime last year. I stopped using the AA soon after that when it also stopped connecting to my wifi and started refusing connections from my iPhone, etc. That said, if you didn't at the time, make sure you're in perfect focus, mount is tracking so no star streaks, and your exposure is long enough to capture enough stars (try 5 sec).
I'm not familiar with the GT71, if you're not using the reducer are you using just a flattener or does this scope already produce a flat image? If your field is not flat then that is probably not helping with your plate solving problems. When you do use your reducer don't forget to adjust the focal length according (ie. X0.8 or whatever factor the reduction is). Good luck.
