Hi ZWO team,
I am trying to use multiple ZWO ASI2600MM Pro cameras (would like to use 4 in total) in a microscope system. I have installed the ZWO plugin for Micromanager 2.0 (V5.0.0.0) and I am currently running the latest version of Micromanager 2.01 (nightly build 20220421). I can load each camera separately and acquire images from each. However when two cameras are plugged in and the ASI camera device adapter is selected twice in the Hardware Configuration Wizard, acquiring an image from either instance of the adapter results in an image from just one of the cameras.
It seems that the device adapter is not using unique device IDs for each camera and so it is not possible to communicate with 2 of the same model of camera at once in micromanager.
Another user has found the exact same issue as me, here on the micromanager forum:

I have seen that multiple ZWO cameras can be controlled simultaneously via the SDK? Could this be implemented for Micromanager?
Also, is your micromanager device adapter code publicly available yet? This could be very useful
Best regards,
Alex
