First light with my ZWO120MC

Sam, this is one amazing camera for the price - great value!

First light with my ZWO120MC. Seeing wasn't brilliant but this is the best of a bunch. This is stacked only. No photoshop or any other messing - I prefer a true/accurate image.

Thanks guys. Yes it's my Celestron C9.25.

I'm really itching to get out again but it's too cloudy.. Tomorrow evening is supposed to be good so I'm going to fine collimated the SCT. When I first got it, it's corrector plate had been over-tightened. Slackening it off slightly/equally corrected the problem I had. I had a little time to do a quick collimation to start imaging. I'm looking forward to trying some deep sky stuff too

hmmmm....that's interesting. I've never heard of adjusting the corrector plate before.

It's best left if it's fine. It's rather fragile, and you could end up destroying your scope, or scopes performance if you're not careful. Mine was pinched slightly by what seemed like over tightened screws.

Understood. I just carefully tried mine and they aren't overtight. ;)
