Hi,
I use an ASI Air Pro with the ED127. I currently have a ZWO 30mm f4 guide scope with the 120mm Mini guide camera. I use an EQ6R-PRO.
Everything works perfectly for go-to, guiding and imaging.
However, I want to use the same setup for visual use. I swapped my main camera out for a diagonal and eyepiece. I use my guide camera (still mounted as-is) as my main camera in ASI Air Pro for go-to operations and centering using plate solve.
Problem is my main scope and guide scope are not pointed to the same exact spot since I am not using guide rings (the guide scope is fixed to a rail on top of the main scope, which is perfectly fine for guiding).
Obviously this means after I perform a go-to and center with the ASI Air Pro (using my guide camera as main camera), I then have to manually move the mount around to center it in my eyepiece.
Before switching my guide system to using rings, I wanted to ask if the go-to operation in ASI Air Pro can be configured to offset it's aim so that it can center the object in my eyepiece without me needed move it.
Thanks!
